Personal Care at United Zion Retirement Community

Our personal care suites are designed for older individuals or couples who need some assistance on a daily basis, but do not need around the clock nursing care. Each personal care suite features a private bath with handicap accessible shower and vanity, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, wall to wall carpeting and ample closet space.

Best of all, as a personal care resident you will receive the quality care and personal attention that has been the hallmark of the United Zion Community for over 100 years.

Personal care at United Zion Retirement Community means your special needs will be taken care of, from special diets to assistance with bathing, grooming and medication. Licensed nurses and nurse aides are available both day and night to provide routine care and supervision. In event of an emergency, our staff is ready to respond at a moment's notice to provide the appropriate help you need.

As a personal care resident, you'll receive morning, noon and evening meals served by our friendly staff in our beautiful new dining room overlooking the campus of United Zion Retirement Community. Laundry, bed linens and towels will be done for you as well as routine housekeeping services in your room and surrounding areas. Your daily fee also includes all utilities except telephone and cable television. At United Zion Retirement Community, your comfort, well-being and peace of mind are our foremost concerns.

Personal care residents may enjoy all the activities and services available at United Zion Retirement Community including social and recreational activities, chapel service, library, craft and activities rooms, beauty/barber shop and more.

Of course, all personal care residents have priority access to our health care center should the need arise for 24-hour nursing care. Physical and speech therapy as well as other health care services are available on a fee-for-services basis.
