The Cottages at United Zion Retirement community

The cottages are designed expressly for couples and individuals who value their independence and want to make the most of their retirement living. As a cottage resident, you will be able to spend time doing the things you love the most, without the burden or expense of home maintenance. Plus, the Cottages at United Zion Retirement Community are designed with all the comforts and conveniences of your own home, such as spacious kitchens, large living and dining areas and bathrooms with safety features.

Located on the campus of the United Zion Retirement Community, just minutes from the center of historic Lititz, the Cottages boast magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and rolling farmland.

Built in clusters, the cottages range in size from 800 square feet to 1,200 square feet and feature convenient one-story living in one or two bedroom models.

Each cottage features:
• A full kitchen with locally-made custom cabinetry
• Full-size appliances including a dishwasher, refrigerator and range
• 1 or 1 2/2 baths with safety features such as grab bars and hand rails
• Wall to wall carpeting in living areas; vinyl flooring in kitchen and baths
• Ample closet and storage space
• Washer and dryer
• Heating and air conditioning with individual temperature controls full basement
• Maintenance on all appliances provided
• Deck adjoining the kitchen*
• Full basement with outside access door*
• Up to 5 hours of maintenance assistance when you move in
• Two smoke detectors that do not require batteries

End unit cottages have one-car garages while interior units have driveways for accessible parking.

As a cottage resident, you'll enjoy the following convenient services included in your affordable monthly
service fee:
• Grounds keeping, snow removal and trash collection
• Cottage maintenance including all appliances provided
by United Zion
• All utilities except telephone and cable television
• 24-hour emergency response
• Social and recreational activities and use of all the
community's activity areas and public spaces
• Shopping transportation
• Notary services except for automobile transactions
• Monthly blood pressure checks, wellness programs
• Programs for cultural, spiritual, educational and recreational needs

In addition, cottage residents are welcome to dine in the community's lovely dining room for a nominal fee. Plus, as a resident of United Zion Retirement Community, you will receive Priority admission to the beautiful nursing or personal care facilities should you require those services on a temporary or long-term basis. You'll have the peace of mind knowing that your future health care needs will be accommodated at this state-of-the-art facility with a reputation for quality care and personal attention.
